Worship is held at First Congregational Church every Sunday at 11:30am. Some people come to worship in formal attire, some dress informally. All are welcome. The service is in a traditional style, highlighting the beauty of God in the world through hymn singing, special music, and responsive readings. The sermons seek to tackle issues of relating faith to the world.
Children are fully invited to participate and a children’s moment is incorporated into the services. Special services are held throughout the year, for the holidays, the church season, and the wider community.
The first Sunday of the month communion is held. We practice an open table. This means that everyone, regardless of age, background, or where you are at in life spiritually, if you feel the call of God you are welcome to participate in communion.
Sometimes our sanctuary and church building is used for other occasions, including meeting space for community and religious groups, weddings and funerals, and other special events for the community. Contact the church if you’d like to be able to use our space at 307-672-2668 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
